Church Pension Group will host a webinar for those attending the 80th General Convention of the Episcopal Church – Episcopal News Service
The Church Retreat Group (CPG), a financial services organization that serves the Episcopal Church, announced that it will host a virtual roundtable with Bishop Thomas Brown, chairman of the board of trustees of the Church’s pension fund (CPF board ); Canon Kathryn McCormick, Chair-elect of the CPF Board of Directors; Marie-Kate Wold, CEO and Chairman of CPG; and other CPG executives and CPF Board members, who will share CPG updates sooner Report to the 80th General Convention (The Blue Book).
The event will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET. All deputies and bishops attending the 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church and other clergy, lay employees, volunteers, and lay leaders who serve the Church are invited to register at cpg.org/R2GCwebinar.
“Instead of meeting in person at General Convention in July, we are inviting Church members to a virtual conversation with our leaders and members of the CPF Board of Directors,” Ms. Wold said. “This forum will provide General Convention attendees and others with the opportunity to learn more about CPG and answer any questions they may have ahead of General Convention and its upcoming CPF Board elections. .”
The panel, which will be moderated by the Reverend Clayton Crawley, Director of Church Relations, will also feature Frank Armstrong, Chief Operating Officer; Kevin Lindahl, Esq., Vice Chairman of the Investment Committee of the CPF Board of Directors; Sandra F. McPhee, Esq., Vice Chair, CPF Board Benefits Policy Committee; Bishop Brian Prior, Vice Chairman of CPF’s Board of Directors, and Roger Sayler, Chief Investment Officer.
