Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions, Arkansas District Export Council Hosts Trade with Canada Webinar
Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions and the Arkansas District Export Council will be sponsoring a free webinar focused on U.S. trade with Canada on Tuesday, April 26.
The United States, Mexico and Canada updated NAFTA to create the new USMCA in 2020. This new free trade agreement contains improvements and modernized approaches to rules of origin, access to agricultural market, intellectual property, digital trade, financial services, labor and many other sectors. which has created new opportunities for companies to do business with Canada, according to a joint press release.
Several experts will moderate the webinar.
Martin Claessens, Senior Commercial Officer at the US Commercial Service in Toronto, currently manages a team of trade and investment professionals who are focused on helping US companies enter the Canadian market as well as helping Canadian companies invest in the United States.
Rudy Ortiz, Management Consultant at Strategic Business Services, assists companies with a wide variety of business-related areas and their international trade/export needs and training. He is a Certified Global Business Professional as well as a US Department of Commerce Certified Trade and Export Consultant and is fluent in Spanish.
