Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) School of Languages, Linguistics and Indology in collaboration with Department of Linguistics, Aligarh Muslim University, Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi and GLA University, Mathura is hosting an international webinar on the occasion of International Mother Language Day on February 21 at 2:30 p.m.

Mumtaz Ali, Chancellor, UNAMI will chair the webinar. Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor is the sponsor and Prof. Syed Imtiaz Hasnain, Department of Linguistics, AMU is the webinar host. Professor Tove Skutnabb-Kangas, Finland/Sweden, Professor Robert Phillipson, UK/Denmark and Professor Ajit Mohanty, India will give lectures on this occasion.

The webinar will be broadcast live on the IMC MANUU Youtube channel. Meanwhile, MANUU is holding a welcome ceremony in honor of Mumtaz Ali on his first visit to the University as Chancellor on February 21 at 11:00 a.m. Prof Syed Ainul Hasan, Prof SM Rahmatullah, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof SK. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar as well as FO I/c, COE, Deans & Directors will be present on occasion.
